The ship was 882 feet long and weighed 45,000 tons. It had a capacity of 2,435 passengers and 900 crew members. RMS Olympic was powered by two triple-expansion steam engines and two Parsons turbines. The ship could reach a speed of 23 knots.

RMS Olympic was considered to be the most luxurious passenger ship in the world at the time of its launch. It had a variety of amenities, including a swimming pool, a gymnasium, a library, and a restaurant. The ship also had a number of public rooms, including a smoking room, a lounge, and a ballroom.

RMS Olympic made its maiden voyage from Southampton to New York City on June 14, 1911. The ship was a success, and it quickly became one of the most popular passenger ships in the world. RMS Olympic made a number of transatlantic crossings, and it also served as a troopship during World War I.

In 1935, RMS Olympic was sold to the Shaw, Savill & Albion Line. The ship was renamed RMS Britannic and it was used as a passenger ship on the route between the United Kingdom and Australia. RMS Britannic was scrapped in 1960.
